As a well-established beauty supplement brand in Italy, Bruno MD saw the potential of the U.S. market and decided to launch it in a big way. They were interested in a direct to consumer e-comm website, but opportunity didn’t fit their existing image. They needed to update their brand identity and establish a unique positioning in the category. Their one distinction was their greatest asset: the Italian provenance.

Research revealed the perception that the Mediterranean lifestyle is seen as the one of the healthiest in the world. The diet, the weather, and exercise of the people in that area create a beautiful way of living. We created the MDiterranean Life as BrunoMD’s new positioning. The spelling made it ownable and made for a unique #hastag for social tagging with a robust influencer campaign. Applying the brand to an immersive designed website and new packaging, they were off to a beautiful start in the U.S. market.

Style was very important for the brand to visually communicate. It’s why U.S. consumers buy beauty supplements in the first place — they want to look good. Working with renowned fashion photographer Giorgio Galimberti, we were able to capture the world of beauty that is the Mediterranean life.
